Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Independent Financial Advisor based in Cape Town, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves providing financial and investment advice tailored to clients’ needs, developing comprehensive financial plans, and managing client portfolios effectively. Additional responsibilities include conducting financial assessments, staying informed about market trends, presenting recommendations to clients, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and wealth advisory
• Excellent communication, client relationship management, and client service skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess financial risks and opportunities
• Understanding of regulatory compliance in the financial services industry
• Proficiency in financial tools, software, and technology to create and monitor financial plans
• Qualified and certified as a financial advisor (e.g., CFP certification or equivalent) and relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Ability to work autonomously and in a hybrid work environment
• Minimum of 3 year experience
• RE5 exam passed.
