Role Description This is a full-time Financial Advisor role based in Lagos, structured as a hybrid position with both on-site and work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Advisor will engage with individual and corporate clients to assess their financial goals, analyze current financial situations, and develop tailored financial plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include advising on investments, retirement planning, insurance solutions, and other financial products within Leadway’s portfolio. The role involves preparing and presenting recommendations, maintaining accurate client records, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. The Financial Advisor will also collaborate with internal teams, participate in client acquisition and retention activities, and stay current on market trends and product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Financial Planning and Financial Advisory skills.
  • Candidates should possess solid Finance and Investments skills.
  • Candidates should possess experience with Retirement Planning and long-term wealth strategies.
  • Relevant tertiary education in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or local equivalents) are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust-based client relationships.
  • Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and proficiency in using digital tools for client engagement and reporting.
  • Prior experience in financial services, insurance, or wealth management is beneficial.
