Role Description The Financial Service Advisor is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home responsibilities. The advisor will provide tailored financial guidance to individual and corporate clients, including assessing financial needs, presenting suitable products, and supporting long-term financial plans. Daily tasks include meeting clients (virtually and in person), explaining insurance, pension, and investment options, preparing proposals, and following up to ensure client satisfaction and retention. The role also involves maintaining accurate client records, collaborating with internal teams to resolve service issues, and staying up to date on Leadway’s product offerings and regulatory requirements. The advisor is expected to meet set performance targets while delivering ethical, client-centric advice aligned with Leadway’s standards.

Qualifications
- Strong financial planning skills, including the ability to assess client needs and develop comprehensive financial plans.
- Solid understanding of core finance principles and personal finance solutions.
- Experience with retirement planning, including pensions and long-term savings strategies.
- Knowledge of investments and the ability to explain risk, returns, and portfolio options to clients.
- Proficiency in financial advisory practices, with a commitment to ethical and compliant recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and sound judgment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CIS, CFA, CFP) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic CRM tools, and comfort with virtual client meetings.
- Ability to work independently and in teams, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets in a hybrid work environment.
