Show job description
A cash forecast is only useful if yesterday's bank movements are already in it when the day starts. Our team works from Denver, eight hours behind the Netherlands, so a Financial Analyst here can close that gap: the bank files are matched and the weekly figures updated before Denver begins work. The job is full-time and remote from anywhere in the Netherlands.

In this role
  • Update rolling 13-week cash forecasts with each day's receipts and payments
  • Reconcile forecast lines to actual bank movements and record the reason for each difference
  • Recalculate the forecast when a customer's payment date or a supplier's due date moves
  • Prepare monthly budget files from the assumptions agreed with each business owner
  • Write short notes for the Denver team on what changed in each forecast and why

Your background
  • A degree in finance, accounting, economics or business, or a year in a finance team
  • Excel: lookups, pivot tables and formulas that link several sheets
  • Experience reading a bank statement and a list of open invoices
  • Comfortable checking your own numbers against the source before sending them

Also relevant
  • Exact Online, AFAS, Twinfield, Xero or another accounting system
  • Power BI, or a course in financial modelling

Employment terms
You get 25 paid vacation days plus Dutch public holidays and the statutory 8% holiday allowance. There is a pension plan with an employer contribution, a monthly home working allowance and a yearly budget for finance courses and exams. We provide the laptop and home office equipment.
