Financial Analyst - FP&A - Newly Qualified ACA

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join a growing commercial finance team within a dynamic and expanding organisation. This role will provide financial insight, planning support & commercial analysis to drive operational & financial performance across a newly acquired, high-performing business unit, working closely with operational and commercial stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.

As Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and financial analysis activities. You will analyse financial performance, identify trends and opportunities, develop reporting solutions and provide insights that help shape business strategy. The role will also involve improving existing processes, enhancing reporting capabilities and supporting automation initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Prepare management reports, dashboards and variance analysis to highlight key business drivers.
• Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support commercial decision-making.
• Analyse costs, identify efficiencies and support initiatives to improve financial performance.
• Maintain accurate financial data and improve reporting processes through automation and system enhancements.
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide insight and support strategic objectives.
• Assist with audit requirements and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

About You:

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with experience in a finance analyst, FP&A or commercial finance role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into actionable insights.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial systems, reporting tools or BI platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
