In this role, you will:

  • Review, classify, and reconcile customer post-audit claims (trade, etc.)
  • Assess validity of claims using customer agreements and supporting documentation
  • Initiate and manage disputes for invalid post audit claims directly with customers
  • Route valid post audit claims to Sales teams with clear documentation and financial impact summaries
  • Maintain a comprehensive post audit claims tracker (volume, value, status, ownership, and resolution progress)
  • Monitor deduction trends and proactively identify risks and recovery opportunities

Business Partnership & Sales Enablement

  • Partner closely with Sales and Customer Teams to guide post-audit claim resolution decisions and trade spend activities
  • Provide financial insights to support negotiations and improve outcomes on post audit deductions and claims
  • Act as a co-pilot to account teams by enabling timely post audit claim clearing and accurate trade resolution
  • Support onboarding and ongoing coordination with third-party recovery partners

Reporting, Analytics & Insights

  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting on post audit trade deductions
  • Analyze customer behavior, deduction trends, and recovery rates to identify insights and opportunities

Process, Controls & Transformation

  • Serve as a key control point (“first line of defense”) to minimize financial risk and ensure compliance
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of future-state processes for post audit trade claims management
  • Support process improvements to enhance efficiency, data integrity, and trade management capabilities

Month-End & Quarter-End Activities

  • Prepare month-end and quarter-end journal entries related to trade accounting, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and appropriate supporting documentation
  • Prepare and complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate variances, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner

What we look for:
