Financial Controller Pandas | Athens, Greece (hybrid) Pandas is the AI-powered experience layer in device circularity. Our KYD™ platform does for devices what KYC did for banks: specialist AI agents grade every component, delivering the same result every time. We power customer-led journeys across retail, web, and in-app for trade-in, device protection, and claim validation, with no queues, no friction, and no app downloads. Our platform is deployed with tier-1 mobile operators and major retailers across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia. We’re hiring a Financial Controller to own finance at Pandas. You’ll decide how the function runs, keep it accurate and compliant, and work closely with our BI, Customer Success, and C-level teams. You’ll have a seat in the decisions that matter: where Pandas spends, where it grows, and what the numbers say we should do next. This is a role with real ownership and real influence. The role Planning, reporting, and insight Own the annual budget and long-term financial plan Work with department heads to build their budgets and keep them on track through the year Run scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis, turn the results into strategic recommendations Produce monthly and quarterly reporting for investors and the board, partnering with Data & BI on dashboards Track burn rate and runway, flag problems early Use AI-driven tools to improve forecasting and spot trends Cash, treasury, and capital Build and maintain short- and long-term cash flow forecasts Run collections and treasury across entities: liquidity planning, cash optimisation Maintain the cap table and support equity and investor matters, including option grants, investor reporting, and finance readiness for future raises Multi-entity finance and compliance Own finance across the group’s international entities, keep each one accurate and audit-ready Manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing Prepare consolidated group reporting Design and run internal financial controls Handle tax, payroll, and statutory compliance in every jurisdiction, working with external auditors and tax advisors Be the internal point of contact on finance-related legal, contractual, and vendor matters International payroll and daily operations Run payroll across multiple countries: accurate, on time, compliant, with local providers managed Own AP and AR, invoice payments, reconciliations, and employee reimbursements Evaluate and bring in AI-powered tools for invoicing, expense management, and consolidation Who this is for 5–8 years in finance, accounting, or FP&A Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics Strong command of Greek and UK tax, payroll, and accounting standards Experience owning finance across multiple international entities, including intercompany accounting and consolidation Hands-on international payroll experience across multiple countries Comfortable in a lean startup or scale-up environment Fluent with AI-powered finance tools and keen to adopt new ones High integrity, dependable, strong ownership mindset. Someone Pandas can trust to run finance independently Clear communicator, comfortable with senior stakeholders and the investor community Nice to have CPA/ACCA, or a Master’s in a relevant field Experience through a funding round, audit, or standing up finance in a scaling company Track record implementing finance systems or process automation Setup Based in Athens, Greece.
