Financial Controller Kildare - Hybrid

Robert Walters are partnering with a growing Construction company who are looking to hire a Finance Manager to lead a small finance team.

This role is based in Kildare with 2-3 days in the office required. Salary circa €75,000 - €85,000 level DOE but may go higher for someone coming from relevant industry and experience.

Key requirements of the Finance Manager

Financial Planning & Reporting

• Prepare P&L review, including monthly and YTD variance analysis against forecast with commentary, this will be at project level and company consolidation level.
• Prepare monthly cashflow reconciliations by project, measuring performance to forecast.
• Drive the business forecast with support of the site teams, understand the project programme status and how this impact forecasting and cash management.
• Using their platform to provide analysis to the business to help drive strategic decision making

Financial Control & Governance

• Monthly Balance sheet reconciliations
• Creditor / Debtor reporting
• Track our YTD and LTD retention position managing for cash and balance sheet impacts
• Preparation of VAT returns and liaising with tax advisors to ensure filing
• Leading the annual audit requirements.
