The opportunity

We are currently seeking highly motivated people to join our Financial Services Risk Management practice of EY Greece Consulting Services, which is the local market leader in Risk Consulting. You will be part of a team of highly skilled professionals participating in projects related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know-Your-Customer (KYC), fraud and other financial crime topics, for major financial institutions in Greece and abroad. Our clients, major participants in the local and international market, operate in a fast-paced environment, characterized by continued disruption and transformation. Your Key Responsibilities

For this role, you are required to:

• Have an understanding of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and/or Know-your-Customer (KYC) frameworks, processes, policies and related information requirements
• Comprehend AML and/or KYC related regulatory requirements and keep up to date with latest developments in the area
• Work closely with clients to perform operations related to AML and/or KYC, indicatively covering:

• AML alert investigations
• KYC onboarding/update
• Reporting
• Escalation for missing/incomplete information
  

To qualify for the role, you must have

• A bachelor's and master’s degree in areas such as economics, international studies, law, business/public administration and finance.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Project management skills
• Willingness to learn and continuously expand technical and business skills
• Travelling availability and potential work on projects abroad
  
  

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Master’s degree in areas such as economics, international studies, law, business/public administration and finance.
• Experience (limited or extensive) around the area of AML investigations and/or KYC operations, in the financial services/banking sector, or other sectors
• Financial crime related certifications (e.g. from ACAMS, ICA, GCI) will be considered an asset
