About InvestEngine

InvestEngine is a UK investment platform that makes it simple and low-cost for people to build long-term wealth with ETFs, through ISAs, pensions and general investment accounts. As our client base grows, our Operations team in Georgia plays a key role in making sure every client is onboarded and monitored safely and to a high standard.

About the role

You'll join our first-line Financial Crime Operations team, reporting to the Financial Crime Operations Manager. You'll make sure new clients — individuals and businesses — are onboarded accurately, quickly and in line with regulation, and that client activity is monitored so anything suspicious is investigated and escalated properly.

This is a high-volume, detail-sensitive role with clear SLAs. You'll work closely with Compliance, Operations and Customer Experience.

What you'll do

  • Complete transaction monitoring and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews, investigating unusual activity and escalating suspicions correctly

  • Meet our turnaround targets — most applications and monitoring cases within 24 hours — while keeping accuracy at 98% or above

  • Keep internal registers and client records accurate and up to date

  • Work with Compliance, Operations and Customer Experience to resolve escalations within SLA

  • Spot inefficiencies and suggest practical improvements to our processes

The team also

  • Reviews and process new client applications for individuals and businesses, including identity, address, bank account and company checks

  • Carries out PEP and sanctions screening at onboarding and as part of ongoing monitoring

What you'll bring

  • Experience in a detail-focused, high-volume operations role — ideally onboarding, KYC/AML, compliance operations or similar in financial services

  • Excellent attention to detail: you catch errors in documents and data and double-check before you submit

  • Strong time management: you handle large volumes without missing deadlines

  • Clear, professional written and spoken English

  • Good risk awareness — you know when something doesn't look right and you flag it

  • A proactive, collaborative way of working: you take ownership instead of waiting for direction

Nice to have: knowledge of KYC/AML, and experience with PEP and sanctions screening.

Our hiring process

  1. Short online cognitive assessment

  2. TA interview (30 minutes)

  3. Interview with the hiring team (45–60 minutes), including a short practical task

  4. Final interview

How we work

We care about putting customers first, acting like owners and speaking up openly. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.
