ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Join a corporate development team that partners with executive and business leaders to drive growth through acquisitions and expansion into new markets and business lines.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys translating deal terms into clear, accurate analysis and keeping complex workstreams moving.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Corporate Development, you will focus primarily on post-close purchase price true-ups and earnouts while supporting financial analysis, diligence, and closing activities throughout the transaction lifecycle. You will own assigned analyses and coordinate across functions with guidance and review from the M&A lead.

This LATAM-based position requires regular working-hour overlap with a New York-based team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Prepare and reconcile post-close purchase price true-ups, including working capital, cash, indebtedness, and transaction expenses, in accordance with acquisition agreements.

• Investigate variances against closing estimates and maintain complete, auditable supporting schedules.

• Build and maintain earnout models, track performance against contractual targets, and prepare calculations, adjustments, offsets, and payment schedules for review.

• Manage assigned post-close workstreams by coordinating with Accounting, Finance, Legal, acquired businesses, and sellers to gather information, resolve discrepancies, and meet contractual deadlines.

• Identify potential disputes or payment issues early and escalate them to the M&A lead with clear supporting analysis.

• Support financial diligence, quality of earnings reviews, valuation models, closing schedules, and funds flow preparation.

• Develop standardized templates that strengthen process management and improve handoffs to Accounting and integration teams.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, plus 3/5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, transaction advisory, or a related discipline.

• Experience with post-close true-ups or earnouts is a plus.

• Strong understanding of financial statements and working capital, with the ability to translate acquisition agreement provisions into calculations with guidance from the M&A lead and Legal.

• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, data reconciliation, and the preparation of clear, auditable supporting schedules.

• A track record of accuracy, sound judgment, and ownership across detailed financial analyses and reconciliations.

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines, investigate discrepancies, work independently, and recognize when to escalate an issue.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English, with confidence coordinating across internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

CONTRACT AND BENEFITS

• Long-term contractor engagement through Deel, renewed monthly.

• 100% remote work with flexibility around U.S. time zones.

• Uncapped vacation, with autonomy to manage delivery and time off responsibly.

• National holidays.

• Laptop provided and shipped via DHL.

• Annual performance reviews.
