Financial Reconciliation Specialist (3-Month Fixed-Term Opportunity)

We are partnering with a global, project-driven organization to find a Financial Reconciliation Specialist who will play a key role in a financial data alignment and reconciliation initiative.

This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong analytical skills and experience working with contracts, billing data, and financial systems. You will be responsible for validating contractual information, reconciling financial records across multiple platforms, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data used for reporting and operational decision-making.

Additional Information

• Contract Type: Fixed-term assignment for an initial 3-month period.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and validate contracts and related amendments.
• Verify contract values against budgets and financial records.
• Check pricing, quantities, and billing accuracy.
• Analyze billing data and compare it with project records.
• Identify discrepancies and coordinate billing corrections.
• Reconcile financial information across multiple systems.
• Process adjustments and maintain supporting documentation.
• Investigate and escalate billing exceptions when needed.
• Support accurate financial reporting and data integrity.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in financial reconciliation, project accounting, revenue assurance, contract administration, finance operations, or a similar role.
• Experience working with ERP, financial, project management, or billing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret contracts, pricing models, billing structures, and contract modifications.
• Comfortable working with large volumes of financial and contractual data.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with platforms such as Business Central, Planview, PeopleSoft, or similar enterprise systems.
• Background in project-based or services-oriented organizations.
• Exposure to financial audits, controls, or revenue validation processes.
