Job Summary
As a Financial Reporting & Consolidation, you play a key role in the preparation, consolidation, validation, and reporting of financial information across Eddyfi Technologies’ global operations, while supporting ESAB reporting requirements.
In this role, you contribute to the reliability of consolidated financial data, the execution of reporting controls, and the continuous improvement of close and reporting processes.

As Financial Reporting & Consolidation, you must be able to:
- Participate in the monthly consolidation of financial results from global entities.
- Prepare, review, and post consolidation journal entries.
- Review intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries to ensure the accuracy of consolidated financial information.
- Coordinate, validate, and reconcile the monthly upload of financial data to ESAB reporting systems.
- Monitor and complete reporting controls supporting the monthly and quarterly close processes.
- Prepare supporting schedules, working papers, and reconciliations for consolidated reporting.
- Review accounting treatments for complex transactions under IFRS and US GAAP.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for internal and external stakeholders.
- Research and document technical accounting conclusions and review or prepare related memos.
- Support the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with business units to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies.
- In collaboration with the Director, Accounting Operations, coordinate the annual group audit with ESAB and external auditors.

What makes you an asset to our team :

- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA designation is an asset
- You bring 8+ years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or external audit
- You have strong knowledge of IFRS and familiarity with US GAA
- You are bilingual in French and Englis
- You have experience working with an ERP system; knowledge of SAP S/4HANA is an asset
- You demonstrate strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience in a manufacturing or multi-entity environment is an asset
- You have a solid understanding of financial reporting, consolidation principles, and accounting standard
- You stand out for your attention to detail, commitment to quality, and sound professional judgment
- You have excellent organizational, priority management, and project management skills
- You are able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, multinational environment
- You are team-oriented, collaborative, and driven by continuous improvement and process efficiency
- You are comfortable challenging assumptions and making well-founded decisions in a dynamic environment
