About the Team:
Join the Support, Expertise & Adoption (SEA) team within Orange's Global Service for Performance (GSP), an international organization bringing together finance, reporting, and analytics professionals across Europe.
The team supports Finance & Performance business partners by ensuring the reliability, quality, and continuous improvement of strategic financial reporting solutions. Acting as a bridge between Finance, Business, and IT teams, we help users maximize the value of financial data and reporting tools.
Role Overview:
As a Financial Reporting & Data Quality Specialist, you will be responsible for a portfolio of strategic financial reports and dashboards, ensuring their reliability, data quality, and effective use across the organization.
You will serve as a key link between business users, Finance teams, and technical experts, supporting report adoption, issue resolution, and the continuous improvement of reporting solutions. As the functional owner of your reporting portfolio, you will play an important role in ensuring operational continuity and delivering high-quality insights to Finance stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities:
- Monitor the availability, performance, and data quality of financial reports and dashboards.
- Perform first-level analysis and controls to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reporting data.
- Identify data anomalies, investigate root causes, and proactively communicate findings to business stakeholders.
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC)for users regarding reporting, data interpretation, and access-related requests.
- Coordinate incident resolution with technical support and development teams, ensuring timely follow-up and stakeholder communication.
- Manage minor report enhancements, access rights, and governance-related activities.
- Support testing, deployment, and release management activities for reporting solutions.
- Drive user adoption and promote best practices in the use of reporting and analytics tools.
- Deliver user guidance, knowledge sharing, and training to increase data literacy and user autonomy.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in Financial Reporting, Controlling, Financial Analysis, Business Intelligence, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, management accounting principles, and financial KPIs.
- Fluency in both French and English, with French used on a daily basis.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and presentation tools (PowerPoint).
- Hands-on experience or strong working knowledge of modern BI and data modeling tools: Power BI, Power Query, or equivalent platforms (or strong demonstrated willingness and capacity to learn rapidly).
- Ability to analyze data, identify inconsistencies, and provide meaningful business insights.
- Experience working with business stakeholders in a reporting, support, or analytical environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and automated data flows is a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, autonomy, and a service-oriented approach.
- Strong client focus, empathy, and active listening skills to effectively assist users and manage diverse stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborative team player with good problem-solving capabilities and ease in navigating evolving environments.
