Group Finance & Reporting Manager | Healthcare | Sydney CBD
Our client is a growing multi-site healthcare group with clinics across the east coast. They’re creating a senior reporting role at the centre of their finance function. You’ll report to the Finance Director, with visibility to the CFO, and own the numbers that go to the Board, investors and the bank.
What you’ll do
- Prepare monthly Board and Director reporting, quarterly investor reporting and lender reporting, including covenant compliance and headroom monitoring.
- Oversee the Group balance sheet and an 8-day month-end close, including multi-entity consolidation, intercompany reconciliations and eliminations.
- Support the Finance Director with the statutory financial statements, the Group consolidation and the external audit.
- Lead the Group’s first mandatory AASB S2 climate-related disclosures, from readiness and gap assessment through to the first report and assurance.
- Act as lead NetSuite Administrator, driving automated Board and management reporting and the rollout of new functionality.
- Support budgeting, rolling forecasts and scenario modelling, and oversee BAS, FBT and PAYG-I compliance.
- Mentor two Accountants and support them through their CA or CPA studies.
What you’ll bring
- CA or CPA qualified (or a recognised overseas equivalent), with a degree in accounting or finance.
- Group reporting and consolidation experience across a multi-entity business.
- Board, investor or lender reporting experience, ideally including covenant compliance.
- External audit experience, from either the audit firm side or the client side.
- Hands-on NetSuite administration and report development experience (essential).
- Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards, including AASB 16. AASB S2 exposure is a plus.
- Clear communication with non-finance stakeholders and strong attention to detail.
- Healthcare or multi-site experience is a bonus, not a must.
Why this role
You’ll own the reporting, not just contribute to it. You’ll build a first-time ESG disclosure framework, have real influence over the finance systems, and develop two Accountants along the way.
The practicals
- Sydney CBD, with four days in the office and one optional day from home.
- $130-145k depending on experience
