Financial Reporting Supervisor - Fund

In this role you will be required to prepare financial statements in compliance with US.GAAP, IFRS or Lux GAAP. Responsibilities:

• Prepare or review financial statements including primary statements and all note disclosure. Ensuring they are adhered to the relevant GAAP of the Fund, primarily US GAAP, IFRS or Luxembourg GAAP.
• Co-ordinate and chair weekly call between the Auditors, Investment Manager ensuring all audit queries and ad-hoc projects are being progressed forward.
• Build a personal knowledge of regulations of (AIFMD, UCITS) to help inform investment manager regarding disclosures etc.
• Coordinate year-end financial statement process and ensure all queries are resolved in a timely manner.
• Review the work of others and ensure all work is delivered on schedule to meet agreed timelines.

Requirements:

• A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) that has ideally completed 3 or 4 year training contract with either an audit firm of fund admin specializing in hedge funds.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics with a (2.2 minimum).
• Detailed knowledge of US GAAP and/or IFRS.
• Strong IT skills, proficient at MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and well organized.
