The Financial Systems Project Coordinator is to support system implementations, integrations, enhancements, and process improvements across the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Supports projects from discovery and planning through testing, implementation, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support
  • Maintains project plans, timelines, milestones, action items, decision logs, and implementation checklists
  • Supports backlog management, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies as applicable to assigned work
  • Coordinates meetings, documents decisions, and follows up with owners on outstanding deliverables
  • Tracks risks, issues, dependencies, and blockers, escalating concerns as needed
  • Develops an understanding of assigned financial systems, business processes, and operational workflows
  • Translates business needs into clear requirements, process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria as appropriate
  • Helps investigate system and process issues and coordinate resolution with functional and technical teams
  • Assists with user acceptance testing, process validation, training, and user adoption
  • Identifies recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows, data quality, and operational efficiency
  • Maintains accurate, accessible project documentation, standard operating procedures, training materials, and knowledge-base content
  • Communicates project progress, outstanding items, risks, and decisions to stakeholders
  • Documents common issues, resolutions, and lessons learned
  • Promotes collaboration between business, operational, accounting, and technical teams
  • Contributes to continuous improvement across the Financial Systems team
