  • Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, consultants, owners, and distributors
  • Spend time on jobsites early on to build product and application knowledge, then shift more time toward contractors, offices, engineering firms, distribution partners, major projects, and project management as you grow in the role
  • Promote Victaulic products, systems, and technical solutions to key stakeholders
  • Plan and deliver presentations, training sessions, and seminars to support product adoption
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans, forecasts, and growth strategies
  • Gather and report market intelligence, competitive insights, and customer feedback
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, inside sales, and leadership) to ensure successful project execution
  • Support and develop distributor relationships to maintain strong customer service levels
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, pipeline updates, and territory performance

WHAT YOU BRING

  • 2–5 years of outside sales experience in construction, fire protection, or related industries
  • Experience working with engineering firms, contractors, and distribution networks
  • Knowledge of HVAC, industrial, PVF, municipal, or building products markets is an asset
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills
  • Solid mechanical aptitude with the ability to communicate technical solutions clearly
  • Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Post-secondary education (engineering, business, or related field) is an asset
  • Willingness to travel regularly, with approximately 6–7 overnight travel days per month
  • Flexibility to support relationship building outside of regular hours, including customer dinners, social events, and occasional evening commitments
