Firewall & Network Security Engineer (m/f/d)

You'll work with leading security technologies, analyze threats, optimize firewall configurations, and ensure secure and reliable operations across enterprise infrastructures. This role is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania , with the possibility of hybrid or remote work. What you will do Manage and maintain enterprise firewall platforms with a focus on network security. Configure and optimize firewall policies, rules, NAT, and security configurations . Work with security technologies including Fortinet and Cisco solutions. Analyze firewall logs, investigate incidents, and identify security improvements . Monitor firewall performance and support vulnerability remediation activities. Act as a security expert during customer incidents and infrastructure projects. When you fit in with us Mandatory requirements: 5 years of hands-on experience in network security or a similar role. Strong experience with enterprise firewalls and security concepts . Hands-on knowledge of Fortinet and/or Cisco security solutions. Experience with firewall policies, troubleshooting, and security analysis . Structured and analytical approach with strong problem-solving skills. Fluency in English and German .
