Firmware Engineer

Firmware Engineer We are looking for an experienced Embedded Firmware & Hardware Engineer to join an innovative engineering team developing embedded electronic devices from concept to production. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working across both firmware development and hardware bring-up. You'll be responsible for designing, developing, debugging, and validating embedded systems while collaborating closely with hardware and product teams. Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain embedded firmware in C/C++ Develop low-level drivers, communication protocols and application logic Bring-up and debug embedded hardware prototypes Design and review electronic schematics Debug hardware using laboratory equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter) Implement and optimize communication interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, USB and Modbus Prepare and maintain technical documentation Collaborate with hardware engineers throughout the entire product lifecycle Support products from concept through production and maintenance Must Have 4+ years of experience developing embedded systems (firmware + hardware) Strong C/C++ programming skills in embedded environments Experience with bare-metal and/or RTOS development Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as: STM32 ESP32 NXP Nordic (nRF) or equivalent Experience with communication protocols: UART SPI I2C CAN Modbus USB Ability to read and create electronic schematics Experience with hardware debugging tools: Oscilloscope Logic Analyzer Multimeter Laboratory Power Supply Experience with JTAG/SWD debugging Nice to Have FreeRTOS or Zephyr BLE Wi-Fi LoRa Zigbee OTA firmware updates Python scripting Git Jenkins GitLab CI/CD Soft Skills Independent and proactive mindset Ability to own projects end-to-end Comfortable working in a startup or scale-up environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good communication skills Ability to work across firmware and hardware domains Locations Wrocław Remote status Hybrid About Infotree Global Solutions At Infotree, meeting your career needs is a top priority.
