The role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Fixed Asset Accountant to join our Finance team as Regenda is undertaking a major asset accounting and finance systems transformation programme, including the implementation of a new Fixed Asset Register (FAR) scheduled for March 2028.
The Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for cleansing, validating and enhancing fixed asset data to ensure a robust and accurate asset base for migration into our new system.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Bringing the existing Fixed Asset Register up to date.
- Establishing and reconciling a Capital Grant Register.
- Analysing and allocating historic stock transfer costs to individual properties and housing components.
The right fit
- You’re a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or qualified by significant relevant experience.
- You have experience of component accounting within housing associations.
- You hold a strong attention to detail and have the ability to investigate complex historic transactions.
- Familiarity of working on data migration projects and supporting system implementations or transformation projects.
- You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced level is preferred).
