General Summary and Purpose: The Fixed Income Quant Analyst builds and maintains quantitative models across credit and securitized markets to support portfolio construction, risk evaluation, and trading decisions for Portfolio Managers and Traders. This role combines rigorous fixed income analytics with proprietary AI applications that advance the team's research and investment tools. The analyst also collaborates closely with senior research analysts to translate quantitative findings into clear insights for investment professionals and clients. You Will: Conduct quantitative credit research, portfolio construction, and relative value analysis across corporate and securitized sectors. Support securitized product analytics, including prepayment behavior, servicer analysis, and cash flow modeling for Agency MBS. Develop and maintain quantitative risk and valuation models in Python used in the trading and portfolio management of fixed income instruments. Explore and build proprietary AI applications to support the fixed income investment process. Partner with portfolio managers and senior research analysts on model portfolios and asset allocation, and evaluate portfolio risk, construction, and optimization. Support sustainable investment measurement for client mandates. Present research results using data visualization tools and maintain the databases used by the research group. You Have: Bachelor's degree in quantitative field required (master’s preferred), such as quantitative finance, financial engineering, business analytics, statistics, mathematics, or economics. 2–4 years of experience in fixed income research, credit research, or portfolio analytics. Strong programming skills in Python and SQL. Experience with AI Fluent use of AI tools for coding, research, and internal tool development. Working knowledge of credit analysis, MBS research and fixed income mathematics. Ability to communicate quantitative results clearly to investment professionals and clients. Target Compensation: The target base salary range for this position is 80k-110k Salaries are determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees, and certifications.
