Fleet Manager - King of Prussia, PA

Sila Services is a leading home services platform supporting HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical businesses across the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest. We’re committed to investing in our people, creating opportunities for career growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. At Sila, we believe in putting people first, acting with integrity, and growing together.

Sila Services is looking for a strategic, hands-on Fleet Manager to lead and shape our fleet program across the organization. With approximately 2,500 vehicles across multiple states, this is an opportunity to take ownership of fleet strategy, improve processes, control costs, and build a program that supports our continued growth.

We’re looking for someone who can think beyond day-to-day fleet operations and identify opportunities to improve how we purchase, maintain, manage, and replace vehicles. You’ll work closely with Procurement, FP&A, and business leaders to make data-driven decisions, strengthen vendor partnerships, and ensure our fleet operates efficiently and cost-effectively.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary: $80,000–$120,000, depending on experience

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance

  • 401(k) with company match

  • Paid time off and paid holidays

  • Company-paid life and disability insurance

  • Professional development and ongoing learning opportunities

  • Career growth and advancement opportunities

  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing, multi-state organization

What You’ll Do

  • Lead fleet strategy and operations across Sila Services’ multi-state portfolio of approximately 2,500 vehicles, primarily service vans.

  • Develop and implement fleet policies, processes, and standards that improve efficiency, consistency, and cost control.

  • Oversee vehicle acquisition, replacement planning, and lifecycle management to optimize purchasing decisions and long-term fleet costs.

  • Manage vehicle maintenance strategies, repair expenses, utilization, and replacement timing to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.

  • Establish and monitor fleet performance metrics, budgets, and cost-saving initiatives in partnership with FP&A.

  • Manage relationships with fleet management companies and vendors, including partners such as Enterprise and Holman.

  • Partner with Procurement on vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and future fleet management provider decisions.

  • Analyze fleet spending, identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations backed by data.

  • Establish best practices for vehicle use, maintenance, safety, and compliance across multiple states.

  • Monitor applicable DOT requirements and other relevant fleet regulations.

  • Collaborate with regional and operational leaders to understand business needs and ensure the fleet supports field teams effectively.

  • Build scalable fleet processes that can support continued company growth, with the potential to develop additional fleet support resources as the program expands.

  • Serve as the internal subject matter expert for fleet strategy, bringing forward recommendations and taking ownership of improvements from planning through execution.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Experience managing fleet operations, fleet strategy, or a related function.

  • Strong understanding of vehicle acquisition, maintenance, replacement cycles, and lifecycle cost management.

  • Experience managing budgets, analyzing expenses, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.

  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to develop processes, establish standards, and drive improvements across multiple locations.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with Procurement, Finance, and operational leadership.

  • A proactive, independent approach with the ability to take ownership and move initiatives forward.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience overseeing a large, multi-state fleet, ideally numbering in the thousands of vehicles.

  • Experience working with fleet management companies such as Enterprise Fleet Management or Holman.

  • Experience managing fleets for field service, home services, or other distributed service organizations.

  • Familiarity with commercial vans, vehicle utilization, maintenance programs, and fleet replacement strategies.

  • Experience with DOT-related requirements and fleet compliance.

  • Experience partnering with Procurement and FP&A on budgets, vendor selection, and long-term fleet planning.

  • Experience building or transforming a fleet program rather than simply maintaining existing processes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Reduces fleet costs through smarter purchasing, maintenance, and replacement strategies.

  • Establishes clear, consistent fleet processes across the organization.

  • Improves vehicle reliability, maintenance planning, and availability for field teams.

  • Builds strong vendor partnerships and ensures Sila receives competitive pricing and service.

  • Uses data to guide decisions, forecast expenses, and identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Develops a scalable fleet strategy that supports Sila’s continued growth.

  • Becomes a trusted internal authority on fleet operations and proactively drives meaningful change.
