A Brief Overview The Float Medical Affairs Clinician (MAC), based in Dallas, Texas, serves as an aesthetic product expert, delivering advanced, hands-on training on the Merz North America injectable aesthetics portfolio. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide training coverage across regions experiencing vacancies or territories where local MACs are on a leave of absence (LOA). The Float MAC is expected to travel extensively, up to 75% of the month based on organizational and territory needs, ensuring seamless training support and continuity of education across the organization. As regional coverage requirements allow, the Float MAC will provide training support in the greater Dallas area. Support for the Dallas market is anticipated to represent a minimum of 25% of monthly activities but may increase or decrease based on business priorities and regional coverage requirements. Management of coverage assignments and scheduling is a shared responsibility between the MAC Director overseeing the position and the Float MAC. The Medical Affairs Clinician (MAC) team develops and implements educational strategies designed to: Provide thought leaders, academic institutions, healthcare professionals and healthcare organizations with timely, accurate and scientifically balanced training on Merz North America aesthetic products. Increase healthcare provider awareness, knowledge and proficiency in the clinical application of aesthetic treatments and product related procedures. Collaborate closely with Medical Science Liaison (MSL) colleagues to support educational events, congress planning and execution, field coverage and competitive intelligence activities. What You Will Do Advanced hands-on training of Merz injection aesthetic portfolio Provide hands-on advanced clinical instruction upon request from Health Care Practitioners (HCPs) in the field Maintain up to date practice skills and awareness of innovations in the aesthetic space. Incorporate techniques of current aesthetic trends from peer-to-peer trainings and congresses as needed Provide internal training to educate sales on on-label usage and support new product launches Work with advanced practices and residency programs to build and maintain long-term relationships and increase competence with the Merz Aesthetics Portfolio Medical Congress Management Work collaboratively with Medical Affairs MSLs on profiling/planning for assigned medical meetings Observe and audit relevant sessions at medical meetings, follow up on educational opportunities (i.e., misinformation), and provide post meeting report on educational value and competitive intelligence? Other duties as assigned Cover other regions as business needs require Minimum Requirements Registered Nursing degree or higher 3-5 years of aesthetics experience, including botulinum toxin and dermal filler injectables, (Ultherapy experience preferred but not required) Active license, Active license, in good standing, in Texas. Nursing Compact License is required Upon Hire The MAC is required to maintain up to date practice skills and awareness of innovation in the aesthetic space Upon Hire Active license, in good standing, in Texas. Nursing Compact License is required Upon Hire Preferred Qualifications Registered Nurse Degree or higher of aesthetics experience, including botulinum toxin and dermal filler injectables, (Ultherapy experience preferred but not required) Technical & Functional Skills Strong procedural, technical, and anatomical competency of injection technique for facial aesthetic injectable procedures Ability to establish clinical credibility, overcome clinical objections with professional audiences, and articulate clinical information on Merz Aesthetic products Strong clinical knowledge in relevant therapeutic areas High level of competency with use of computer, mobile electronic devices, and customer relationship management (“CRM”) systems Adhere to corporate SOPs and ensure vigilant compliance with relevant legal and regulatory guidelines governing scientific interactions with physicians and healthcare professionals across all activities, including those related to clinical trials, scientific interactions with internal and external groups, and responses to unsolicited medical/scientific information Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations and regulatory guidelines governing commercial and scientific interactions with healthcare professionals and other business partners Strong interpersonal skills Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills Excellent verbal and presentation skills
