FOR FUTURE CONSIDERATION: Consultant - Full or Part Time (Financial Aid Director Level Experience)

As a College Aid Services Consultant you will fill a variety of roles (e.g. financial aid director, assistant director, counselor, etc.) for a diverse group of institutions to manage Title IV aid, staffing, and operations on an interim basis. College Aid Services Consultants are committed to improving business processes and efficiencies that support compliance, enrollment goals and objectives. They are focused on customer service and improving student success. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience with at least 5 years of director-level and leadership experience. Candidates must have strong skillsets in utilizing Department of Education software and student information systems (i.e., Anthology/CampusVue, Banner, Colleague, PeopleSoft, PowerFAIDS, WorkDay, etc.). Strong written and oral communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners are required. Assignments can be long or short-term and may include travel. Hours may vary due to the client's location and requested support level. Therefore, we are looking for individuals that have the flexibility to travel anywhere across the United States to support our clients. In most cases, part-time assignments allow the most flexibility on hours and tend to be short-term assignments. In some cases, based on the client's request, long-term assignments may initially require travel, but over time can be reduced to a hybrid schedule that calls for less travel. Job Requirements: Minimum 10 years experience in Financial Aid roles. At least 5 years of FA director-level and leadership experience. College degree preferred although candidates with progressive experience will be considered. Proficiency in federal regulations and compliance; experience with federal reporting requirements (e.g. FISAP, IPEDS, HEERF, etc.) Highly detail oriented with strong ability to understand client needs and lead teams toward a common goal. Strategic thinking and leadership skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to motivate, develop and train staff. Flexible availability for contract work assignments. Available to travel. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with prior consulting experience. Candidates with NASFAA professional credentials Candidates with NASFAA FAAC® designation. Candidates with a master's degree or a bachelor's degree and significant experience in financial aid/higher education leadership positions. Travel The position may require travel.
