About ITVA
ITVA is building an AI-native platform transforming how enterprises manage their IT infrastructure. We combine network visibility, automation, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and IT operations into a single intelligent platform.
Our technology is deployed in complex enterprise environments, helping organizations operate and secure the infrastructure they depend on every day.
We're looking for experienced network engineers who want to be at the forefront of bringing artificial intelligence into real-world IT operations.
About the Role
As a Forward Deployed Network Engineer, you'll work at the intersection of enterprise networking, artificial intelligence, and software engineering.
You'll deploy ITVA into some of the world's most critical infrastructure, working directly with enterprise customers to integrate AI-powered capabilities into their networks and operational workflows.
This isn't a traditional network engineering or implementation role. You'll have the opportunity to help pioneer how AI is applied to enterprise infrastructure, working closely with our engineering team to turn real-world operational challenges into new product capabilities.
You'll be both a technical expert in the field and a key contributor to the evolution of our platform.
What You'll Do
Lead the deployment and integration of ITVA across complex enterprise customer environments, including cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped infrastructure.
Implement AI-powered network operations, troubleshooting, visibility, and automation workflows.
Integrate ITVA with enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and other critical networking infrastructure.
Work directly with network engineering and IT operations teams to understand their most challenging operational problems.
Identify opportunities where AI and automation can eliminate manual processes, accelerate troubleshooting, and improve infrastructure reliability.
Collaborate directly with ITVA's software engineers to design, test, and develop new product capabilities.
Translate customer feedback and real-world engineering challenges into product requirements and improvements.
Build scripts, integrations, and automation workflows to support complex customer environments.
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout deployment and ongoing adoption.
What We're Looking For
7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking, network engineering, or network operations.
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and network security.
Extensive experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise networking equipment from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet, or Palo Alto Networks.
Strong familiarity with network management protocols and interfaces such as SNMP, SSH, NETCONF, REST APIs, or gNMI.
Experience with Linux environments and scripting or automation using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems independently.
Experience working directly with enterprise customers or cross-functional technical teams.
Strong communication skills and the ability to translate operational challenges into technical solutions.
Genuine interest in AI, automation, and the future of enterprise infrastructure management.
Nice to Have
Experience building network automation tools or Python-based integrations.
Advanced knowledge of BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, or large-scale enterprise routing.
Experience with network observability, NetFlow/sFlow, or configuration management.
Familiarity with Docker, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure.
Experience supporting critical infrastructure, utilities, large enterprises, or highly regulated environments.
Exposure to AI/ML applications or AI-assisted operational tooling.
Why Join ITVA
