  • Responding promptly to enquiries via telephone, email and text message.
  • Building positive and trusting relationships with prospective foster carers.
  • Conducting initial fostering visits within your region.
  • Maintaining regular communication throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Re-engaging applicants who have withdrawn where appropriate.
  • Ensuring all enquiries are progressed within agreed service timescales.

  • Monitoring enquiry pipelines, regional reports and conversion activity.
  • Producing weekly performance reports and supporting monthly reporting requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, GDPR and organisational policies.
  • Supporting the wider recruitment function to achieve service objectives and targets.

Engagement & Events

  • Supporting and co-facilitating foster carer information events and live Q&A sessions.
  • Representing Compass Community at recruitment events across your region.
  • Attending regional and national team meetings.
  • Promoting fostering opportunities within local communities.

What We're Looking For

You'll Ideally Have

  • Experience within recruitment, sales, customer engagement or another target-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to influence and engage people both over the phone and face-to-face.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence working independently and managing your own workload.
  • Experience using CRM, ATS or database systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and reporting accuracy.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across your region.

Desirable

  • Experience within fostering, social care or children's services.
  • Understanding of the foster carer recruitment journey.

  • Home-based working with flexibility
  • Company pension scheme
  • Ongoing learning, development and career progression opportunities
  • Employee assistance programme
  • Blue Light Card eligibility
  • Life assurance
  • A rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to children's lives every day
