🚀 Hiring: Founder's Assistant / Manager (Remote, Part-time) — Hire #001

I'm a founder and about to become a co-founder in a second biz. I'm actively recruiting a remote founder assistant/manager (in enterprise land, you'd call it a CEO assistant) for FusionKong, a digital consultancy helping Australian SMEs work smarter and grow.

All low-cost offshore regions are welcome! The hire window closes in a week. This land moves fast!

The role

You'd help me with all areas of my biz, and if you don't know something, I'm happy to teach you. But you need to be super efficient and ready for challenges.

Your rate will match your region's level, and I'll go beyond it, I assure you.

Part-time only for now due to my tight budget! We can move to contract or full-time later when my businesses go well.

Growth path

You need to be self-driven, and not only try to benefit the biz, but also genuinely benefit my clients and end consumers. Have the willingness to learn and sharpen your own skills. We benefit each other, not just a paycheck relationship.

Depending on how the biz goes and how you grow, you could start as an assistant/manager and gradually step into a senior role with real ownership. And you could be the one hiring our #002 together!

How we work

• No time clock on ya. As long as the work's done, you're free to learn anything, find ways to grow the biz, or just spend more time with your family

• No agencies, pls! Budget is tight, and I wanna give my future employee as much as I can afford without a middle cut

• Don't BS me. Tell me the whole truth, all your skills and weaknesses. There's a 2-week probation, so nothing to hide

I try to be the coolest boss you've ever worked with, and you could be my coolest employee #001!

Skills required

• Fluent English writing and speaking (know Aussie patterns and slang a bit)

• Strong willingness to learn and take on challenges

• Time management

• B2B client and B2C customer comms

• Good with all the popular digital tools in a tech biz setting

• Able to use AI-powered tools and prompt a dumb LLM properly 😄

Nice to have

• Digital design skills (got your own taste)

• Social content scripting

• Video editing

• Marketing

• Sales

• Mandarin speaking (a little bit is fine, not a must)

• Cross-border trading or relevant client comms skills

• Anything that could surprise me and benefit a tech company
