Show job description

From internal tools to company-wide workflows, Noloco turns your data into a custom, AI-powered app your team will love to use. We help teams running complex operations build internal tools, client portals and CRMs without writing code.

Backed by Y Combinator, Frontline and other top-class investors, Noloco is a team of 17, spread across Barcelona and Ireland, with support colleagues across the Philippines, India and the Dominican Republic.

Why this role exists

Everyone else at Noloco has a clear function: engineering, support, partnerships, growth. Everything that doesn't fit neatly into one of those lands on the CEO, from team rhythms and internal reporting to strategy and special projects.

As our Founder's Associate, you'll work directly with our CEO, Darragh. The goal is not just to free up his time. It's to be a genuine partner: someone who takes real things off his plate, makes the team run better, and helps think through the hardest decisions.

What you'll own

  • Team communication and coordination. Own the weekly team sync and the monthly all-hands end to end. Pull inputs from every team, shape the narrative, and make sure we stay aligned.
  • Customers. Handle the customer inquiries, feedback and complaints that reach the CEO, and be a point of contact for some of our enterprise customers.
  • Making things run better. Spot repetitive or manual work across the CEO's desk and the team, and use AI and automation to simplify it.
  • Strategy and special projects. Be a sounding board and an extra pair of hands on the CEO's priorities: research, analysis, and a clear recommendation at the end.
  • Operating rhythm. Keep the recurring processing running: onboarding new teammates, offsites, and data and first drafts for investor updates and internal reporting.

What you'll actually be doing

  • Owning our weekly sync, which is already mostly generated with Claude
  • Prepping and running the monthly all-hands so the whole team leaves aligned
  • Picking up a frustrated customer's email that landed with the CEO and seeing it through to a resolution
  • Being the day-to-day contact for a handful of our enterprise customers
  • Being the person teammates go to when something falls between teams
  • Pressure-testing the CEO's thinking before big decisions
  • Planning our next team offsite
  • Sitting in on decisions, then taking a growing share of them off the CEO's plate

How we work

We're an AI-first team, and you'll be expected to be too. Day to day we use Claude connected to Slack, Gmail, Granola, Slite, HubSpot and Linear, plus Noloco itself. You don't need to be an engineer, but you should be comfortable using these tools and setting up automations with them.

You might be a fit if

  • You have roughly 2 to 5 years of experience in consulting, operations, a startup, or similar, and want broader ownership than your last role gave you
  • You use AI tools every day and have used them to improve how you or your team works
  • You're an exceptional communicator in writing and in person, including with an unhappy customer
  • You like messy problems, can break them into pieces, and don't need someone to tell you what to do next
  • You're organised and reliable; things don't drop when they're with you
  • You're analytical and comfortable with spreadsheets and data
  • You'd like to start your own company one day

This probably isn't for you if

  • You want a clearly defined role with fixed responsibilities
  • You'd rather analyse from a distance than get your hands dirty
  • You prefer working fully remote

What success looks like

  • 3 months: You've shadowed the CEO, understand how Noloco runs and makes decisions, and own the weekly sync and monthly all-hands end to end. You've identified what you'll take over next.
  • 6 months: You have real ownership of team communication and coordination, the CEO's time is measurably freed up, and you've led at least one strategic project from research to delivery.
  • 12 months: You run high-impact projects independently and are a trusted partner in the company's biggest decisions.

Where you'll work

In our Barcelona office in Gràcia, hybrid. This role works very closely with the CEO, so in-person time matters. Occasional European travel.

How to apply

Along with your CV, tell us about a process you improved or something you built, with AI or otherwise, and what you learned doing it.
