Founding CTO

Founding CTO Come join the founding team and help build the next generation of AI-powered enterprise technology. We’re looking for a Founding CTO / Technical Co-Founder to join the founding team of an early-stage AI company building an agentic operating system for enterprise finance. You’ll own technical strategy, architecture and engineering execution, initially remaining hands-on before transitioning into a broader leadership role as you build and scale the engineering organisation. Must Haves Strong background as a Staff/Principal Engineer, Engineering Lead or Technical Co-Founder, with genuine technical leadership experience Experience building complex platforms from 0-to-1 and scaling systems for significant enterprise use Hands-on experience with enterprise automation, workflow systems or agentic automation Strong understanding of systems architecture, domain modelling and knowledge representation Practical experience building AI agent systems in production, including orchestration, context, guardrails and stateful workflows Strong understanding of security, auditability and system correctness Experience leading engineering teams and establishing strong engineering practices Confident communicating with enterprise customers and security teams Technically strong enough to remain hands-on with application development and architecture Nice to Haves Experience building technology for enterprise finance, revenue management or other complex financial environments Strong knowledge of agentic AI architecture, including human-in-the-loop workflows and exception handling Experience designing systems where automated decisions are traceable, verifiable and auditable Exposure to SOC 2, RBAC, data residency or similar enterprise security requirements Experience integrating data across ERP, CRM and billing platforms Experience with GCP, DBT, Palantir Foundry, Laravel/PHP or modern agentic frameworks Previous experience within an early-stage startup or founding team A strong academic, engineering or competitive programming background would be beneficial Department Management Locations Stockholm Remote status Hybrid Applicant tracking system by Teamtailor
