We are seeking a talented Software Engineer with a focus on Backend development to join our dynamic team in Palo Alto, CA. As a Founding Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our company's product, technical strategy, and culture. The ideal candidate has a passion for tackling technical challenges and has experience architecting systems, reasoning through complexity, and building reliable products.

Responsibilities

• Build core services and web-based APIs from the ground up.

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to define, design, and deliver value to customers.

• Deliver projects autonomously--from technical design to launch and beyond.

• Write and maintain scalable, performant and secure code.

• Contribute to strategic discussions and provide insights into technical feasibility

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in frontend development.

Qualifications

• Experience developing large-scale distributed systems or working on a SaaS platform.

• Strong proficiency in backend programming languages such as Python.

• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, complex technical environment with high agency, adaptability, and flexibility.
