Show job description

Most rounds start with a warm introduction. Most founders never get one.

gigi is changing that, and we've put a public number on it: 50 founders funded by the end of 2027. Plenty of those stories will start in a room you helped fill.

What gigi does

gigi is Europe's first AI networker for capital and strategic partnerships. She gets to know founders and investors in a real conversation, then works around the clock to connect the right people, with full context, when there's a genuine reason to talk.

  • For founders: sharper pitches through deck reviews, investors vetted on their actual track record, warm double opt-in introductions, and mentors who've been through the same challenge.

  • For investors: early signal on strong companies the wider market misses, and the context to act on it.

  • For partners and corporates: a direct route to the companies building what they need.

  • After the introduction: gigi stays in the conversation, flagging when to follow up and bringing in peer support when momentum stalls.

Underneath it all is a founder-led network built on giving back. Every member who succeeds brings their knowledge and connections back for the founders coming next. We're UK-first, and our events work is just getting going. That's where you come in.

What you'll get involved in

This role faces founders and investors alike. You'll work alongside our Events & Community Lead and our co-founders, getting hands-on wherever UK founders and investors meet. Depending on what interests you, that could include:

  • Event partnerships. Exploring UK conferences, accelerators and ecosystem events, and helping start conversations with organisers.

  • gigi at partner events. Helping organisers bring gigi into their events, so attendees meet the right people before, during and after.

  • Accelerators and ecosystem. Building lasting relationships with accelerators, angel networks and university programmes.

  • Our own events. Helping shape a gigi event series in London for founders and investors.

  • Venues and logistics. Venues, guest lists, run of show and the day itself.

  • gigi on the floor. Representing gigi at UK conferences and events beyond our own.

  • Investor relationships. Getting to know the angels, funds and family offices in our network, and bringing them into the room alongside founders.

  • From room to network. Helping the people we meet sign up and take their first call with gigi.

  • Between events. Ideas and content that keep founders and investors engaged.

  • What worked. Seeing which events and partners bring people in, and why.

Why join

You'll work directly with our two female co-founders, one of them named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list for Social Impact in 2026. This isn't a shadowing scheme. You'll sit in on partner calls, shape how gigi shows up in public, and see how an early-stage company is built and funded from the inside.

You'll also build your own network across UK founders, investors and event organisers, and leave with events you ran and numbers you can point to.

Equity is available from our employee share option pool, so you can share in what you help build.

Where this can go

We'd like this to be the start of something bigger. There are no guarantees at our stage, but here's where it could lead.

  • A paid role. When we raise, we plan to create a paid events role. Do the job well and you'll be first in line.

  • Your own series. Run the London events well and they become yours to lead.

  • Cross-border events. UK first. As gigi expands into Europe, the playbook you build here travels with us, and so could you.

  • A different seat. If you shine in partnerships, growth or product, we'll talk about that instead.

You're probably

Early in your career, maybe a student or recent graduate, with a real pull towards startups and investing. You'll have:

  • Something you organised from scratch: a society event, a meetup, a conference, a club

  • The confidence to reach out to people you don't know yet, from founders and investors to the people who run the rooms

  • Strong organisation and follow-through

  • Clear, warm writing

  • A genuine stake in who gets access to capital

Bonus points for a London startup or university network, or a European language.

The details

Remote-first, based in London, with regular in-person time at UK events. This is a volunteer role, with equity available from our employee share option pool. [Time commitment TBC]. You'll work alongside our Events & Community Lead and directly with the founders.
