Founding PLM Solutions Engineer

About the Role

A Series A industrial software company is seeking a Founding PLM Solutions Engineer to shape the technical narrative for enterprise deals and help define how new product lifecycle management solutions are positioned. This high-ownership role sits within solutions engineering and partners closely with product and company leadership to influence the product and establish the sales approach.

What You'll Do

• Lead technical discovery and deliver value-driven demonstrations for enterprise PLM opportunities.

• Own the technical narrative throughout deals, including product positioning and customer-facing messaging.

• Build demo environments and help develop the go-to-market story as products evolve.

• Partner with product teams and company leadership, sharing customer feedback to inform the roadmap.

• Help establish the solutions engineering playbook and build momentum in a developing market.

• Travel 3 to 4 days per month, including trips to Europe every other quarter.

What We're Looking For

• Five to eight years of experience as a PLM Solutions Engineer or in a related solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or industrial technical sales role.

• Deep expertise in Process PLM and/or Discrete PLM, with particular value placed on Process PLM experience.

• PLM experience from a software, implementation, consulting, or manufacturing environment.

• Hands-on experience with at least one PLM platform, such as Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE, Arena, Aras, Propel, or Oracle Agile.

• Experience with product data, bills of materials, or engineering change-management workflows.

• A track record of owning technical discovery, enterprise demos, and customer-focused technical storytelling.

• Interest in building with ownership and participating in long-term equity upside, with a consistent career history.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary: $120,000 to $200,000 USD annually. Equity opportunity is available. Visa sponsorship is available.
