Founding Product Designer

Arcway is building the AI-native 3D design platform for homebuilding. We turn floor plans into interactive 3D worlds. Buyers can walk the home, move walls, swap materials, and see everything update instantly. Light, physics, building rules, and real products all move together. Our goal is simple. Create the interface for the built world. We have paying enterprise customers, strong investors, and real traction. Now we’re hiring our Founding Product Designer. The role We need a designer who thinks in motion and space. This is not a SaaS dashboard. It is closer to designing interaction for a game engine than a web app. You will design experiences where users make hundreds of meaningful decisions without feeling overwhelmed. You will own: Buyer experience: Orbiting, walking, configuring layouts, comparing options, feeling the space. Builder experience: Managing options, constraints, pricing logic, and the systems that power the world model underneath. This is foundational. You will shape how this product feels. What you’ll do Design real-time layout tools where geometry updates instantly Build spatial UI systems for navigation and comparison Create progressive disclosure inside a 3D environment Define interaction patterns for orbit, walk, inspect, zoom Work side-by-side with engineering to ship high-performance experiences What we’re looking for Strong product fundamentals Experience designing complex interaction flows Bonus if you’ve worked in 3D, gaming, Unreal, motion, or interactive systems Intuition for spatial hierarchy and pacing Comfort operating in ambiguity You know how to guide someone through 200 decisions without overwhelming them. Compensation The base pay range for this role is $150,000 – $200,000 per year.
