Founding Product Manager

Housing is a human industry. People become letting agents and property managers to look after residents, then spend their days chasing leads and copying data between systems. Growing a portfolio has always meant hiring more people to do the admin.

Lette is building the AI-native operating system for rental operators, from first enquiry to signed lease and from move-in to renewal. Rental housing is a huge industry still run on manual work, and few problems suit AI agents better: high-volume, multi-channel and rule-bound, with a real resident on the other end of every decision.

What you'll be doing

You'll be Lette's first product manager, working directly with the founders, engineering, design, customer ops and sales. This is a senior IC role: no team to inherit, no product ops function and no playbook yet. Rather than writing user stories, managing people or project managing delivery, your focus will be on:

• Owning a product area and deciding what gets built, in what order, and why
• Shipping product that operators actually adopt, measured in outcomes and revenue, not features shipped
• Setting the product standard at Lette, including the bar every future PM is hired against

Here are some examples of what you'll be doing:

• Getting close to operators. Spending real time with leasing teams and property managers, on site and on calls. Not a week goes by without you talking to a customer.
• Shipping personally. Prototyping, scoping and making the call yourself, then working with engineering and design to get it into operators' hands.
• Turning signal into product. Combining product vision with live customer feedback and usage data to decide what to build next, and what not to.
• Connecting product to the rest of Lette. Making sure customer ops and sales know what's shipping, why it matters and how to sell it.
• Shaping how we work. Defining intake, prioritisation and release rhythm as we scale. None of it is fixed yet.

What a good fit looks like

• You've done it before. 5+ years in product, with at least two owning an area end to end in B2B SaaS. You have outcomes to show us. Experience in proptech or vertical SaaS with operational buyers is a plus.
• You have a founder mindset. Ideally you've founded a company before. At minimum, you've been an early hire at a startup.
• You're a passionate builder. You build in your spare time and can show us several side projects. You're genuinely energised by how fast technology is moving: you keep up with what's new and you get your hands on it early.
• You understand AI products. You've shipped AI-powered products and have a clear view of where they work and where they don't.
• You're a systems thinker. Complex operational workflows, integrations and messy real-world data don't scare you.
• You're commercially wired. You understand who you're solving for and what it's worth to them.
• You own your work. You take responsibility, close open loops and speak up. Your writing is short, clear and decisive.
