Founding Sales Engineer Location: Remote (Must accommodate to US East Coast working hours) About Us Partnerships are the future of go-to-market. They drive 30-50% of company revenue, yet most partner teams are stuck with spreadsheets, email chains, and outdated CRMs - tools never built for partnerships at scale. The result? Wasted time, lost deals, and inefficiencies that kill growth. Euler is the AI-native PRM for modern partnership teams - built to replace manual work, eliminate partner friction, and turn partner activity into repeatable revenue and measurable ROI. Our mission: make partner revenue scalable and predictable. We grew 600% YoY in 2025 and serve industry leaders - consistently winning against legacy solutions. We move fast, build intentionally, and focus on delivering real value. If you're excited to solve big problems, work with smart teammates, and shape the future of partner tech, we'd be glad to meet you. Role Overview As our founding Sales Engineer, you will be the technical foundation of our go-to-market motion. You will run technical discovery during the sales process, lead proofs of concept, drive RFP responses, and own the technical handoff between Sales and Onboarding. This is a career defining role. You will partner directly with our founder and sales team to win the most complex deals in our pipeline, and you will build the SE function from zero to one. You sit at the intersection of sales, product, and customer success, and you will heavily influence what we build, how we sell, and how we win. We expect to build our entire pre-sales org around you. Key Responsibilities Technical Discovery Run technical discovery throughout the sales process to surface partner program structure, CRM and tooling requirements, integration needs, security and compliance constraints, and success criteria Ask sharp, specific questions that uncover the real technical decision drivers behind every deal Translate prospect requirements into clear, prioritized solution narratives that the AE can carry forward Help qualify or disqualify deals early based on technical fit, saving the team cycles on the wrong opportunities Proofs of Concept Scope, design, and run proofs of concept that prove Euler can solve the prospect's specific problem Build out custom demo environments and POC instances configured to the prospect's data, partner motion, and CRM stack Define clear success criteria for each POC up front and drive the prospect to a decision on time Partner with Product and Engineering when a POC needs functionality that does not exist yet, and bring those signals back into the roadmap RFPs and Security Reviews Own the technical close, including RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, and architecture review meetings Build and maintain a reusable library of RFP responses, security documentation, and technical answers so we respond quickly and consistently Coordinate cross functionally with Product, Engineering, and Security when a response needs subject matter expertise Sales to Customer Onboarding Own a clean, structured handoff from Sales to Onboarding at the close of every deal Document the prospect's goals, technical environment, integration requirements, and success criteria so the CS team starts from full context, not zero Stay involved through onboarding kickoff to make sure nothing gets lost in translation and customers reach first value quickly Demos and Presentations Build and deliver tailored product demos that speak directly to each prospect's industry, CRM, and partner motion Present confidently to both executive and technical audiences, from VPs of Partnerships to Directors of RevOps to Solutions Architects Maintain a library of demo environments, narratives, and assets that scale across deal types and prospect personas Building the SE Function Define and document the SE playbook, including discovery frameworks, POC scoping templates, RFP response libraries, and handoff checklists Establish how we measure SE impact, from technical win rate to deal velocity to handoff quality Help hire and ramp the next SEs as we scale the team Qualifications Experience 5+ years in a Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or Solutions Architecture role at a B2B SaaS company Track record of being the technical lead on enterprise or mid market deals with complex integration and configuration requirements Experience owning POCs end to end and driving them to a clear yes or no on time Experience leading or contributing to RFP and security questionnaire responses Skills Exceptional written and spoken English with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non technical audiences Excellent discovery skills with the ability to ask sharp questions, surface real constraints, and steer conversations toward technical fit Strong fluency with CRM data models, especially Salesforce and HubSpot, including the ability to whiteboard objects, fields, and relationships from memory Comfortable with API concepts, webhooks, OAuth, and data mapping at a conceptual level Hands on enough to build demo environments, configure complex products, and run small custom builds without engineering support Strong project management and organizational skills, especially when juggling multiple active deals, POCs, and RFPs at the same time Knowledge Deep understanding of B2B SaaS sales motions and the role of an SE in winning the technical close Familiarity with PRM, partnerships, channel programs, or RevOps tooling is a strong plus, even if from the buyer side Understanding of how SaaS products integrate with CRMs, billing systems, and data warehouses Attributes Customer obsessed and outcomes driven, with a real passion for solving prospect problems rather than just running through a script Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple active deals, POCs, and RFPs at once Proactive, detail oriented, and process minded, with a willingness to write down what works so it scales Comfortable operating in a fast moving startup environment and building from zero to one A true owner mentality with the willingness to roll up your sleeves on whatever the deal needs Why Join Us Founding seat with a function to build: be the first SE at Euler and grow the entire pre-sales org around you. Direct line to the CEO and sales team: you own the technical close on the most complex, high-value deals in the pipeline. Real product, real traction: 600% YoY growth, and a roadmap you influence directly through the signals you bring back from the field. Competitive salary and benefits. We'd love to meet you.
