Founding Writer - Science Fiction (Social First)

Founding Writer — Social-First - Sci-Fi

My client is building an AI-native, social-native science-fiction universe. Think Mad Max or the Fifth Element reinvented for the internet, combined with the provocative, fashion-forward sensibility of avant-garde luxury and design houses.

As the Founding Writer, you won't inherit a playbook—you will help write it. We need a creative force who moves effortlessly between ten-year mythology and ten-second videos.

You might come from any background (advertising, film, social media, gaming, or a unique cross-section of these industries) – but have a passion for the sci-fi world.

• Location: Remote (EU time zone)
• Compensation: Highly competitive salary + equity options

Key Responsibilities

• Universe Building: Define the creative vision for an original sci-fi universe built for social platforms, entertainment, and emerging media.
• Story Architecture: Invent unforgettable characters, extraordinary worlds, and repeatable story engines capable of generating thousands of narratives.
• Social-Native Formats: Develop storytelling formats that combine cinematic craft with hooks, memes, and algorithmic trends to create cultural phenomena.
• Short-Form Scripting: Write exceptional, impossible-to-scroll-past 30–90-second cinematic sci-fi stories.
• AI Creative Direction: Master and push the limits of AI models, prompts, workflows, and next-gen storytelling tools.
• Hands-On Execution: Write, experiment, and actively build the universe rather than just directing from the sidelines.

The Ideal Profile

• Skillset: Exceptionally imaginative writing, deep understanding of how stories spread online, and a passion for mastering cutting-edge AI tools.
• Background: Experience in advertising, film, social media, gaming, or a unique cross-section of these industries.
• Mindset: A mix of a dreamer and an executor—visionary enough to imagine new worlds, but highly disciplined enough to ship them.
