About Us

At Félix, we are building the indispensable financial companion for Latinos in the US. We combine an AI-powered, conversational-first interface with real-time financial infrastructure to make cross-border money movement as easy as sending a text. Starting with fast, affordable remittances powered by AI and crypto rails, we are expanding into credit, savings, and wallet services to support the complete immigrant financial journey. Our ambition is to deliver a white-glove financial experience with the simplicity of a conversation to a community the traditional financial system has historically overlooked.

We are a hyper-growth Series C company, backed by over $300 million in funding from top-tier global investors, including Andreessen Horowitz, QED, Castle Island, Switch Ventures, HTwenty, Monashees, General Catalyst Customer Value Fund. This isn't just about the numbers; it's a testament to the trust our investors have in our vision and our team. Additionally, Félix was selected as an “Endeavor Entrepreneur” and was a recipient of the CrossTech Fintech Startups Award.

Joining Félix means you will be part of a team building a legacy, a company that will outlive us all. This is a rare opportunity to apply your skills to a deeply meaningful mission—serving a community that has been underserved for too long because we are obsessed with our customers. We get things done with urgency and focus, driven by extreme ownership over our impact. We collaborate without ego, fostering radical transparency and fierce loyalty so we can grow together. Because we aim for insanely great rather than just good enough, we stay insatiably curious—always experimenting, building the future today, and delivering a product that truly makes our users' lives better.

About the Role

At Félix, we’re expanding beyond remittances into new product lines, starting with Credit. As an FP&A Associate on our Finance team, you’ll support the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis of these new products and contribute directly to how Félix evaluates and scales them.
Building is the core of this role. In your first months, you’ll create the forecasting, unit economics, and reporting infrastructure for Credit from a standing start, often working with limited, early-stage data. Turning that data into actionable insight for the business is key.
Over time, you’ll own the financial picture for Credit as it scales, and for each additional product as it launches.
We’re looking for someone who is energized by building financial models and processes from scratch rather than inheriting them, and who wants to do it alongside a superb, high-caliber team.

Responsibilities

  • Build and own the forecast model for Credit and other new products, starting with limited historical data.
  • Develop and maintain unit economics for each new product (cost to originate, expected loss, margin per unit), keeping them current as the business evolves.
  • Own the budget-vs-actual process for new products, including driver-based variance analysis.
  • Lead consumer lending portfolio modeling, including loan origination, repayment behavior, portfolio performance, and profitability analysis.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the business P&L, identifying risks, opportunities, and operational levers that impact profitability.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis on new-product performance for Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Reconcile new-product figures against source systems (BigQuery, Abacum) to ensure reported numbers tie to what’s actually happening.
  • Flag data gaps and quality issues early, rather than letting assumptions substitute for missing data.
  • Partner with the Credit and Product teams to understand upcoming launches, pricing changes, and portfolio shifts before they hit the numbers.
  • Work with Data and Engineering to make sure new products are properly instrumented for forecasting and reporting from day one.
  • Help extend Félix’s FP&A tooling, including Abacum, to cover new products as they launch.
  • Build repeatable processes and documentation so new-product forecasting scales without a proportional increase in manual work.
  • Support the broader FP&A team on budgeting, reforecasting, and board reporting as new products mature.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, focused on financial planning and analysis rather than pure accounting; experience in a startup, scale-up, or fintech environment preferred.
  • Experience with credit products (e.g., consumer lending, BNPL/SNPL) in a finance or FP&A capacity is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., complex formulas, pivot tables, charting).
  • Experience with financial planning and reporting systems required; Abacum experience strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working with large, transaction-level datasets beyond spreadsheets alone; SQL or other database query language experience is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proactive about using AI to work faster and more accurately, as a tool that sharpens judgment rather than a substitute for it.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build financial models and processes from scratch, with limited precedent to work from.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.

These are the applicable requisites, although equivalent competencies in any of the above will also be considered.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Initial stock options grant
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Paid parental leave
  • Hybrid work setup
  • Health, dental, and vision plans
  • Continuous learning opportunities
  • Empowering opportunities for growth in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment
