About the Company
Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed connected fitness equipment brand revolutionizing the home and commercial fitness space. Best known for their innovative, tech-enabled stair climbers, they are rapidly expanding into high-performance treadmills, connected equipment, and fitness accessories.
They operate across an omnichannel footprint—spanning direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce, top national retail partners, and commercial accounts. With global manufacturing operations, international supply chains, and complex inventory cycles, their finance and operations engine handles multi-channel revenue streams, landed cost accounting, and asset-backed credit facilities.
About the Role
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a strategic, proactive, and analytical Senior FP&A Analyst / FP&A Lead.
In this role, you will serve as a key financial co-pilot to executive leadership. You will take complete ownership of liquidity management, cash flow forecasting (including complex borrowing base and debt calculations), annual budgeting, and 3-statement financial modeling. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, love turning complex operational data into actionable strategic insights, and want to help steer a category-defining brand, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cash Flow Forecasting & Debt / Liquidity Management
13-Week Rolling Cash Flow: Build, update, and maintain detailed short-term rolling cash forecasts and long-term capital projections.
Borrowing Base & Lender Reporting: Prepare, monitor, and certify periodic borrowing base calculations for lender compliance and debt facility management.
Supplier Credit & Working Capital: Track supplier credit terms, monitor payables exposure, and model working capital optimizations (DSO, DPO, inventory turns) to protect liquidity health.
2. Budgeting & Financial Planning
Annual Budgeting: Steer the cross-functional annual budgeting process, establishing clear timelines, milestone reviews, and standardized templates.
Variance Analysis (BvA): Lead monthly and quarterly Budget vs. Actual reviews; deliver executive-ready root-cause commentary and variance breakdowns.
Driver-Based Forecasting: Maintain dynamic, rolling forecast models that accurately reflect operational, e-commerce, and retail revenue drivers.
3. Strategic Modeling & Ad Hoc Analytics
Dynamic Financial Modeling: Build robust 3-statement models, ROI/payback analyses, unit economics, pricing models, and product/channel profitability analyses.
Scenario Planning & Stress Testing: Run sensitivity models under varying macroeconomic conditions, supply chain shifts, and growth scenarios (best/base/worst-case).
Executive Decision Support: Support C-suite leadership and board presentations with ad hoc business case evaluations and strategic insights.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 4+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, or related strategic analytical roles.
U.S. Company Experience: Prior experience collaborating directly with U.S.-based businesses and cross-border operations.
Cash & Debt Expertise: Proven track record in 13-week cash forecasting, working capital optimization, and credit facility / borrowing base metrics.
Advanced Technical Skills: Mastery of Excel / Google Sheets (complex nested formulas, dynamic models, sensitivity tables). High proficiency navigating corporate ERPs (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks) and modern BI/reporting tools.
Time Zone Alignment: Full availability during standard U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
Language Proficiency: C1/C2 professional fluency in English (both written and verbal) for daily communication, executive reporting, and cross-team meetings.
Location & Setup: Must be based in Latin America with a dedicated home office setup and a verified high-speed, stable internet connection.
Mindset: High business acumen, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive, ownership-driven approach to problem-solving.
Nice-to-Haves
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field; MBA, CFA, or CPA credentials.
Prior experience with consumer goods (CPG), e-commerce, physical hardware/inventory, or supply chain finance.
Direct exposure to Asset-Based Lending (ABL) or institutional debt facility administration.
