Job Summary
We are partnering with a high-growth global fintech company seeking an FP&A Specialist to join its Go-to-Market Finance team.
This role goes far beyond traditional budgeting and reporting. As a strategic finance business partner, you will work directly with senior leadership and commercial stakeholders to evaluate new business initiatives, model financial outcomes, and influence key growth decisions.
You will take ownership of complex financial modeling, scenario analysis, and strategic planning projects that directly impact revenue growth, profitability, and long-term business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial modeling and scenario analyses for strategic growth initiatives
- Translate business opportunities, product launches, and commercial programs into actionable financial insights
- Partner closely with Product, Partnerships, Commercial, and Executive Leadership teams
- Assess business cases and provide recommendations to support investment decisions
- Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
- Conduct variance analysis across revenue, gross profit, and key operational drivers
- Deliver ad hoc analyses and insights that improve decision making across the business
- Drive process improvements and establish scalable financial planning frameworks

Compensation
- Base Salary: Up to JPY 12,000,000
- Performance Bonus / Profit Sharing Program

Target Requirement
Must Have
- 5+ years of FP&A, Strategic Finance, Commercial Finance, or Corporate Finance experience
- Exceptional financial modeling capability with experience building business cases and scenario analyses independently
- Strong business partnering experience with commercial and non-finance stakeholders
- Experience supporting strategic decision-making through financial analysis
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with limited structure
- Strong ownership mentality and proactive mindset
Preferred
- Fintech, Payments, SaaS, Technology, E-Commerce, or Digital Business experience
- Experience within a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
- MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification
- Experience using ERP and BI tools
- Exposure to pricing, product finance, growth strategy, or commercial analytics
- Experience leveraging AI and automation tools within finance processes
