Millennial Assistants is looking to expand our network of freelance graphic designers! We work with graphic designers of various levels of experience. As a graphic designer with Millennial Assistants, you'll create graphics for use across various platforms. The goal for all of your content should be to help our small business clients grow their online presence and, ultimately, their company. Who you are: You are detail-oriented, with a keen eye for aesthetic quality, a strong sense of typography and design hierarchy You understand the importance of following branding guidelines and the ability to problem-solve and follow branding even when a client does not have well-documented expectations (the ability to recognize fonts and colors used, follow templates used in the past, etc.). You have an understanding of how being an independent contractor works - you are your own business You're a self-starter who frequently says, "I don't know how to do that, but I'll figure it out!" You're tech savvy, have access to industry software, the ability to create various file types, and require minimal oversight and direction You have a grasp on basic marketing concepts and can create graphics based on the needs of a client as opposed to having complete artistic freedom You're not afraid to make suggestions on how to make projects better, going above and beyond client expectations You have excellent attention to detail and a desire to produce high-quality work You're able to help keep files organized so that they are easy to hand off and pick up by other team members Responsibilities: Use graphic design software to develop unique fonts, color schemes, shapes and other design elements that portray a company’s brand Produce artwork from scratch and/or cleanup provided art work Review given artwork and determine if additional work needs to be done or not Prepare separations for the screen printing process Help ensure a job is done correctly and at the best quality possible Each graphic design project with Millennial Assistants is typically paid a set fee that's communicated upfront before you accept the project. The opportunity for hourly work is available occasionally. Types of projects available include graphics for sites and landing pages, blogs, sales & marketing materials, and social media posts. Contractors with Millennial Assistants are their own boss and business - they set their own hours, accept or decline projects, and can work with their own clients outside of Millennial Assistants. Millennial Assistants makes no guarantee on volume of project availability or amount of money that can be made with us. We are an agency that partners with contractors/freelancers who are notified when work is available.
