Acumetis. Reframe what’s possible.

The Role

The Innovation Portfolio Manager is responsible for documenting current processes and templates, defining optimal process steps and the templates and resources needed to train AI, and translating business needs into requirements for AI and automation builds across Acumetis.

Working within the Acumetis Innovation Operating Model, you will capture current-state workflows, identify opportunities for process standardisation, and define the documentation, templates, resources and business requirements needed to support AI-enabled solutions.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, innovation leadership and delivery teams to ensure priority workflows are well understood, clearly documented and ready for AI or automation design and implementation.

Prioritisation and investment decisions sit outside the scope of this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document current processes, workflows, handoffs, decision points and supporting templates across priority areas.

  • Work with service-line and operational SMEs to understand variations in current ways of working and capture the resources required for consistent execution.

  • Define optimal future-state process steps, templates and resource libraries that can support standardisation and AI enablement.

  • Gather and structure business requirements for AI, automation and digital workflow builds.

  • Translate process and template requirements into clear inputs for solution design, build and testing.

  • Identify the documentation, examples, decision rules and training resources needed to support AI-enabled outputs.

  • Collaborate with delivery, technology and innovation teams to ensure requirements are sufficiently detailed for implementation.

  • Support post-implementation learning by capturing improvements to processes, templates and requirements for future builds.

What We’re Looking For

Must Have

  • 6–8 years of relevant experience in business analysis, process improvement, transformation, consulting, operations or digital enablement, including experience documenting workflows, defining requirements and working with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Strong business analysis, process mapping and current-state discovery skills.

  • Experience documenting workflows, process variations, templates, tools and operating resources.

  • Ability to define future-state process steps and translate business needs into practical requirements.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation and SME interview skills.

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear process documentation and requirements materials.

  • Ability to bring structure to ambiguous problems.

  • Understanding of how structured content, templates and decision rules can enable AI and automation solutions.

Desirable Experience

  • Consulting, professional services, life sciences or healthcare experience.

  • Product management, transformation, innovation or service improvement experience.

  • Experience supporting AI, automation, workflow redesign or digital workplace technology implementation.
