Role Description

We are looking for an up-and-coming Freelance Junior Digital Designer with a sharp eye for visual craft and a genuine passion for digital design.

This role is ideal for a talented student or emerging designer looking to gain hands-on agency experience. Above all, we value a strong background in Graphic Design or Communication Design—we want someone with rock-solid creative fundamentals, a deep appreciation for visual craft, typography, layout, and colour.

While development isn't your primary responsibility, an interest in web development, no-code tools (Webflow, Framer, etc.), or AI-driven design tools is a massive bonus that will let you stretch your creative muscles.

Qualifications

• Strong Design Fundamentals: Formal education, training, or a background in Graphic Design or Communication Design, with a sharp eye for typography, layout, colour, and visual systems.
• Web & Responsive Design: Ability to apply design principles to build modern, intuitive, and user-friendly digital experiences across screen sizes.
• Graphic Asset Production: Proficiency in creating icons, digital imagery, and visual assets optimised for the web.
• Design Tools & Prototyping: Experience using industry-standard design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar) and basic prototyping workflows.
• UX & Accessibility: Understanding of core UX principles, accessibility best practices, and mobile-first design.
• Detail & Process: Strong attention to detail, adherence to brand guidelines, and commitment to organized file management.
• Communication & Remote Work: Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate effectively, and respond openly to feedback.
• Front-End Knowledge (Bonus): Foundational front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript) or experience with no-code tools (Webflow, Framer) is a plus.
• Location: Must be based in Australia.
