Freelance Senior Production Artist (Print)

Studio | Freelance, Hourly W2 | Remote

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced freelance Senior Production Artist to join our Studio team on an hourly W2 basis. You'll own the final execution and quality assurance of print assets, independently troubleshooting, finalizing, and releasing complex files while holding to production best practices and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, troubleshoot, and finalize files for print release, unsupervised

• Build print-ready layouts in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, including preflight, packaging, and vendor handoff

• Retouch, color-correct, and composite images; create illustrations or low-res comps as needed

• Develop iterative designs from existing pieces or established brand style, collaborating with an art director as needed

• Format and design PowerPoint slides with creative director guidance, including icons

• Identify efficiencies and recommend improvements to production workflows

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant print production experience

• College degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience also acceptable

• Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

• Strong knowledge of print production processes, specs, color management, and workflow best practices

• Proficient in PowerPoint and Microsoft Office 365

• Working knowledge of Figma is a plus

• Freelance, hourly, W2 position (not a 1099 or corp-to-corp engagement)

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to work as a W2 employee
