Freelance Social Media Manager - Full Remote

Job Description About the Role We are looking for an experienced Freelance Social Media Manager to develop and manage the social media presence of our clients, primarily SMEs and small businesses . The role covers the entire social media lifecycle, from defining the editorial strategy to content creation and publishing, community management and performance analysis. We are looking for someone who can independently manage multiple clients while adapting the strategy, tone of voice and content to each company's objectives and audience. Your Responsibilities Social Media Strategy Define social media strategies tailored to each client's objectives, target audience and positioning. Identify the most relevant platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok . Define editorial guidelines, content pillars, formats and publishing frequency. Build and manage editorial calendars. Stay up to date with social media trends, formats, platform changes and emerging opportunities. Content Creation & Copywriting Develop relevant topics and editorial angles for each brand. Write social media posts while respecting each client's tone of voice and brand identity. Create engaging content adapted to the specific requirements of each platform. Write effective hooks, captions and calls to action. Adapt and repurpose content across different platforms. Use AI tools effectively for research, ideation and content production. Visual Content & Creative Coordination Define requirements for visuals, videos, carousels, infographics and other content formats. Create simple visual content using tools such as Canva. Prepare clear briefs for graphic designers, video editors or motion designers when more advanced creative production is required. Ensure consistency between published content and each client's visual identity. Publishing & Community Management Schedule and publish content across different social media platforms. Ensure consistency and regularity of publications. Monitor comments, messages and interactions. Engage with communities and encourage audience interaction. Identify opportunities to organically grow audiences and brand visibility. Performance & Reporting Monitor key KPIs including reach, impressions, engagement, audience growth, clicks, traffic and conversions. Analyze content performance and identify the most effective topics, formats and approaches. Adjust editorial strategies based on performance data. Produce clear reports with actionable recommendations. Manage social media strategies with a focus on visibility, engagement and business opportunities . Candidate Profile Experience: Solid and demonstrable experience in Social Media Management, ideally within an agency environment or managing multiple clients simultaneously. Social Media: Excellent command of LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook. Experience with TikTok is a plus. Content & Copywriting: Excellent writing skills and the ability to adapt tone, messaging and content formats to different brands and audiences. Creative Skills: Good command of Canva or similar tools for producing simple visual content, with the ability to collaborate with creative specialists on more advanced productions. Strategy: Ability to build and execute a genuine editorial strategy beyond simply publishing content. Analytics: Ability to analyze social media performance and translate results into actionable recommendations. AI Tools: Good understanding and practical use of AI tools for research, ideation and content creation. SME Experience: Good understanding of the challenges and constraints faced by small and medium-sized businesses. Organization: Excellent ability to manage multiple clients and editorial calendars simultaneously. Personal Skills: Autonomous, creative, rigorous, proactive and able to regularly suggest new ideas. Portfolio: The ability to present accounts managed, examples of content produced and measurable results achieved will be highly valued.
