Role Description The Freelance Software Developer will work full time in a remote capacity, collaborating with the team to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for client and internal projects. Day-to-day tasks include implementing back-end web functionalities, writing clean and efficient code, debugging and resolving technical issues, and contributing to architectural decisions. The developer will participate in code reviews, ensure adherence to best practices and security standards, and integrate APIs and third-party services as needed. The role also involves documenting technical specifications, communicating progress with project stakeholders, and continuously improving systems based on feedback and performance metrics.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including working with servers, databases, and APIs.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code using modern development tools and frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with software testing, debugging, and performance optimization techniques.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote, full-time freelance setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous freelance or remote development experience and a portfolio or GitHub profile showcasing relevant projects are advantageous.
