Freelance Visual Designer — Remote Contract

Vision71 Technologies is looking for a freelance visual designer who can turn supplied content and business ideas into clear, distinctive, professional visuals.

We value strong design judgment: thoughtful concepts, confident typography, balanced layouts, and the ability to communicate a message visually. Your portfolio and the thinking behind your work matter more than your preferred software.

The engagement

• Fully remote, freelance contract.
• A paid one-month trial, with scope, deliverables, fees, deadlines, and included revisions agreed before work begins.
• Initially approximately 2–3 social media posts per month.
• Vision71 supplies the content, objectives, and direction. You develop the visual concepts and finished designs.
• Occasional additional work may include brochures, carousels, presentation graphics, and short video editing.
• Additional deliverables and changes beyond the agreed scope will be quoted and approved separately.
• Any continuation beyond the trial will be agreed mutually.

What we’re looking for

• Excellent layout, typography, visual hierarchy, and attention to detail.
• The ability to make business and technology content engaging and easy to understand.
• Original thinking and the judgment to choose an effective visual approach.
• Confidence using Figma, Canva, Adobe tools, or an equivalent professional workflow.
• Clear communication, dependable delivery, and a constructive approach to feedback.
• Editable source files and an organised handover.
• Occasional short video editing skills are desirable. Please identify relevant examples if you offer this service.

AI in your workflow

AI tools are welcome as part of your process. We are hiring for your creative thinking, design judgment, and execution. Your portfolio should demonstrate your contribution beyond generated images or lightly modified templates.

You should be able to explain your design decisions and refine the finished work precisely in response to feedback.

Application requirements

Please include the following in your application materials:

• A working portfolio link with 3–5 relevant examples, preferably including social media designs and a brochure, carousel, or other multi-page piece.
• A brief explanation of your contribution to the selected examples, including any templates or AI tools used.
• One short example of how you translated a written brief into an effective design.
• Your preferred tools, availability, typical turnaround time, and indicative pricing for approximately 2–3 posts during the one-month trial.
• What your proposed fee includes, including revisions and source files.
• A short video editing example, if applicable.

This engagement focuses on design. Social media account management, publishing, and copywriting are outside the initial scope.
