About the Role

We’re looking for a skilled Middle Front-end Developer to join our web team at nove8. You’ll work across React and TypeScript front-end applications, custom Strapi projects, and workflow automations, helping us build and maintain reliable, scalable web solutions. You’ll collaborate with product stakeholders and backend developers to deliver high-quality user experiences and improve internal workflows. We’d love to meet you if you care about clean code, performance, and practical, maintainable solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of professional experience with JavaScript, React, and TypeScript

• Solid understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+), bundlers like Webpack or Vite, and RESTful APIs

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to improve code quality, speed up development, and support problem-solving

• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand

• Familiarity with component-based design and reusable UI architecture

• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to collaboration

• Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team

• Willingness to stay current with development trends and suggest improvements to our stack and workflows

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain web interfaces using React and TypeScript

• Implement responsive, pixel-perfect UIs based on design specifications

• Develop and maintain custom Strapi projects and integrations

• Build and maintain workflow automations using JavaScript and related technologies

• Work with AWS Lambda functions and support serverless workflows

• Work with cloud infrastructure configurations and automation tools such as Pulumi

• Monitor application logs and work with environment variables and secrets in AWS, following security best practices

• Integrate front-end applications and automations with RESTful APIs and third-party services

• Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, and responsiveness

• Review code from peers and help maintain high-quality development standards

• Contribute to architecture decisions and refactor existing code as needed

• Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and backend developers to ensure timely and seamless delivery

• Use Git and Git-based workflows for version control and collaborative development

Nice to have

• Experience with Strapi and Gatsby

• Basic familiarity with AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, CloudWatch logs, environment configuration, and secrets management

• Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Pulumi

• Experience with workflow automation and integrations involving tools such as Zendesk and Jira

• Background in integrating payment solutions such as Stripe or PayPal

• Experience working in agile development environments

• Familiarity with Lottie for implementing animations

• Experience using CSS Modules for styling and component isolation
