Front-End Developer (Angular)

We are looking for a Front-End Developer to join our team. 💻

🌍 This opportunity is based in Porto and follows a hybrid working model, so we are happy to hire candidates who are available to come to the office regularly.

💡 Your daily responsibilities include:

• Build, test, and maintain Angular applications, working with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS on a daily basis.

• Apply modern Angular practices, such as standalone components and the new control flow syntax, keeping the codebase up to date and easy to evolve.

• Turn functional requirements and UI designs into clean, scalable code, and take part in discussions about front-end architecture.

• Be responsible for front-end features from start to finish, and help keep quality high through code reviews and automated testing (unit and integration).

• Work hand in hand with product owners, UX/UI designers, and engineers from other disciplines to deliver a coherent experience across the product.

• Work according to Agile Scrum methodologies.

💼 Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in front-end development.

• Good knowledge of Angular (preferably Angular 17 or newer), including standalone components and control flow syntax.

• Solid knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and SCSS.

• Experience working with APIs and design systems.

• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD tools.

• Experience with unit and integration testing in front-end applications.

• Good communication skills in English.

• A system-level mindset: you understand how the front-end connects to the rest of the product, not only the screen you are working on.

• Proactive attitude, critical thinking, and willingness to bring your own ideas to the table.

➕ Nice to have:

• Experience building cross-platform applications with Electron and/or Capacitor.

👩‍💻 Our recruitment process consists of three distinct steps, each designed to assess different aspects of a candidate's qualifications, skills, and alignment with the organization:

Stage 1 - 30-minute conversation with a Recruiter.

Stage 2 - 1-hour technical conversation with members of the engineering team.

Stage 3 - 1-hour conversation with our Project Director.
