Job Description This is a remote position. We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Volunteer Intern - Front End Developer with up to 2 years of real-time experience in front-end development. This position is ideal for someone who has a foundational understanding of front-end technologies and is looking to further enhance their skills by working on real-world projects. As part of our team, you will contribute to the development and optimization of user interfaces while gaining deeper insights into industry best practices and advanced development techniques. Key Responsibilities: UI/UX Development: Develop and maintain user-facing features using JavaScript and React.js, applying your experience to create responsive and efficient interfaces. Work closely with designers to translate design specifications into functional and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces. Learning and Development: Expand your knowledge and skills by working on complex, real-world projects under the mentorship of experienced developers. Engage in code reviews, team discussions, and collaborative problem-solving to enhance your technical proficiency. Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience: Up to 2 years of real-time experience in front-end development, particularly with JavaScript and React.js. Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with practical experience in React.js. Familiarity with modern development tools and processes, such as Git, Webpack, and CI/CD pipelines. Experience in integrating front-end components with RESTful APIs. Development Principles: A solid grasp of software development principles and a strong commitment to following best practices. Skills: Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
